With my cut fringe that I did last week. It's growing on me now.

I FOUND THE CHAIR. I went to an op shop coming home from uni today because I spotted some furniture outside the shop while I was driving past. It exactly how I wanted it and the seat is cushy, so I wont have to be replacing it. I only spent $20 (I could have bought a cheaper one, but I liked this one more). I will upload some images of it tomorrow.

I can finally get started on my DIY project. Now to get some fabric and paint, so I can decorate after I've sanded it back and fixed the footing (slight chipping). AAH I'm so excited.

On another note, got another part of my major assignment back today. I did much better than I thought and turns out that I was freaking out that I didn't do enough for nothing, I DID TO MUCH, ahah. But I still got 11.5 out of 15. Now I have to start with my essay which is due in 2 weeks. Wish me luck!!

Week Off

Had a week off but didn't manage to do a vlog or post here, I've been lazy. I went back to uni today and had a test for biodiversity, I'm confident that I didn't fail, but I probably didn't do as good as I'd hoped for. I find out in the next couple of weeks though.

The iPad they gave us is the biggest distraction I could ever possibly imagine, I didn't log onto my computer FOR A WEEK. How bad is that. Turned out not logging onto my computer gave me a very nasty virus that I had to spend a few hours fixing and backing up my HDD.

I cut my hair again, just the fringe this time, just above my eyebrows. I'm not too pleased with and will try fix it later on. I'm trying to refrain from cutting any length from my hair so that it manages to grow to the length that I want it.

Do you guys think I should take photos and post them here more often, I'm trying to be a better blogger but I don't dedicate enough to it.

Great thing about my course is great stuff like this, got my iPad at collection today. I've already set up a few things and am trying to find a few worthwhile apps to put on it.

Ideas

Massive DIY plan ahead.

Since getting my desk for my room I have been meaning to get a chair for it. I currently have a gas lift chair that I'm borrowing from another room in the house and its waaaaay to big for my room. I want to see if I can get a second hand wooden chair with padding on the base and on the back so that I can reupholster it with black velvet. I want to sand back the chair and add some extension on to it before painting it a colour, haven't decided what yet, I may just go for black to match with the velvet but I will see when I compare colour swatches and choose then. I'm really excited for this to start happening.

As for uni, all is going smoothly. I have already had my first assessment and test, and managed to pass on both. I have a major assigment coming up soon, so I should start planning what I will be doing soon so I don't get to far behind. I also get my iPad this week. Which means I will have something to be able to efficiently take notes with considering my laptops battery is broken and wont work without the charger BUHUH.

A vlog will be up sometime during the week.

New drawing

Tested out my new pencils! Im so happy to be drawing again, it took me so long to get back to the stage I comfortable with. Anyway this was done with Derwent Studio colours. It's a little off focus because I couldn't get a scanned copy on my computer.

I stopped putting it off and finally bought myself a task, with my impending work load its seemed like the right time to do it. I had to depart with one of my bookshelves though to make room for it, just glad that its big enough to hold some of the stuff so I wont have to re-home those either.

Also since the last time I uploaded a picture of myself here my hair has grown quite a bit, I'm thinking of cutting my fringe again but maybe have it all layered, the bottom half is still shaved off so you can imagine how thick my hair would be if I still had it.

Progress

Got to get myself an actual HD camera. This is a progress shot of the siren painting that I'm currently doing. I haven't thought of a name, but there's a high chance that I might consider selling it when its completed. It's currently about 1/10 finished so there's still a lot more work to be done on it. So far I haven't had any major problems that I have had to fix. I'm excited to see what It will look like when I have completed it.

Uni

I have finished my first week of Uni. So far it seems really good, the work doesn't seem that hard and from what my teachers and lecturers are saying it seems that I'd be able to cope with the work that I would be doing so long as I focus, study and don't leave things to the last moment. I've met a few nice people already so I'm hoping that next week I'll get to know some more people and the place better. I'm excited!
