Tested out my new pencils! Im so happy to be drawing again, it took me so long to get back to the stage I comfortable with. Anyway this was done with Derwent Studio colours. It's a little off focus because I couldn't get a scanned copy on my computer.

Drawing makes me happy
This is a portrait done entirely in charcoal and white pastel. Its is of the lovely Z. You can find them on through the link tentaclesandteacups. I have to keep practicing on portraits of people since I haven't been doing any lately. So this is number one.

Wax flowers!!
Posted this on facebook already, but its needs to be here too.
It took me 5 whole hours to make these two flowers made from wax. They are extremely brittle and delicate, so I don’t know how I’m going to go about making them safe on my artwork when they get sent off in August for marking. I have another 17 of these babies to make, then to spray paint them with black enamel and finish them off with silver leafing around the petals’ edges. It really is time consuming, but in the long run will be so worth it.
Body of work will consist of:

Body of work will consist of:
- 7-9 paintings
- 15 ‘melting’ wax clocks ( including motors so that they work)
- 17 of these flowers
- 1 carved/scratched/embossed aluminum sheet.

Painting
I bought new brushes, so I went and tested them on this one ^^^^^ I'm probably going to cut it up and salvage the pieces that I like from it.
This one is still on it way. It so far from being complete, its taking forever to do :( hopefully within 3 weeks it can be finished so I can move onto something else.

Painting
I'm in the process of painting bark on a tree in oil paint. It has taken me 3 hours just to do this little part because I have to keep going over and over it again. Hopefully it will look good when its done

Artwork for sale
So this is the finished piece that I started 2 weeks ago and finally got around to completing its, I was dissatisfied when It was a sketch with a bit of colour here and there, so I painted the rest if it. It turned out to look quite different to most of the things I do because I wasn't keeping track of the colours I was using and just kept adding and adding things to it. I'm going to selling it to anyone in Sydney who wishes to buy it, If I have multiple offers I will take the best offer. Otherwise its first in first serve.

Sketch
So I scanned the sketch I started in biology 2 days ago. I really like the design so I'm hoping to buy a canvas and paint a giant version of it in colour. Colour scheme will be mauve, black, red, blue and white.

SNEAK PEEK
I'm sketching out something at the moment (not quite finished as you can see) that I'm possibly going to be selling once I finish and get it framed. I need to get more sketch pens though since I ran out. I'm hoping to get somewhere around $50 dollars for it. I don't know how I'm going to go about selling it, so It might be to Sydney buyers only for now.
